The recording capacity of our NVR kit is not good as it goes to sleep after 30 seconds of recording and the motion sensor is hit and miss. The record time is not near long enough when the camera comes on quickly enough.
One of the cameras in the kit keeps recording until the battery dies even after adjusting the sensitivity and mapping out areas with trees and plants.

I love the camera, but the battery life lasts only two days with motion detection set to only and the areas are not high traffic.
Motion detection has a lag, so you may miss a second or two of who's walking by.

I enjoy the app on my phone which notifies me via text when motion is detected, allows me to view all cameras on my phone, and lets me speak to people (although the quality is not very clear).
I have not used the app yet and the only flaw is that without it, a monitor is required. It comes with every cable known to man except for vga. I had to use an old monitor and vga cable to set it up.
