I am frustrated and disappointed with the remote monitoring alerts of the surveillance-NVR kit. They do not stop and the only way to shut them down is by disconnecting from the internet.

The motion detection feature has a major drawback. I receive motion alerts on my phone, but there is no way to turn off the alert message sound. This means I have to turn off the alerts altogether if I do not want to hear them constantly going off and recording the event. Birds flying by the cameras also set off an alert and so far I have not been able to figure out how to reduce these false alerts.

The installation process was very simple and took only 5 minutes. I hooked it up to my router, plugged a camera in, downloaded the app on my phone, changed the password on the app and it was complete.
I easily installed the software with my phone and had it up and running in under two minutes.
The hardest part of installing the cameras is running wires throughout the house.
It took me about a week to plan and 8 hours to run the system.
