I set up the cameras and everything was working great. However, I faced a problem with the alarm setup. I set up to see the alarm message and they popped up but only stayed for a short time and went away. The message screen is still up but the actual messages disappeared. I could not find any other way to set them up so the alarm messages won't go away until I dismissed them.

I find it pretty great that I can get 3-4 days of 24-hour recording if I go to 8 cameras.
I connected five IP5M cameras and two IP8M cameras to the NVR, all recording at their highest resolution and maximum FPS, and set to record all the time. The NVR has a good recording capacity and was only using roughly 55Mbps out of 88Mbps of its available bandwidth.

I found the night vision to be effective in picking up details that would normally be dark. The range of the night vision was pretty far in my usage, testing it up to 25 feet and still being able to see what was going on at night.
