The stun-gun is easy to handle and use, giving a feeling of security. It is heavy and sturdy enough to protect oneself. Additionally, flashing the light and shocking someone.
The stun gun has a safety switch and the light switch should be set to the far back setting to avoid accidental triggering while the light is on.
I appreciate the safety features, especially the safety switch that prevents injury by ensuring the stun-gun is never live.

Once I strap the baton, I have a great grip for carrying and my fingers are close to the light and taser control buttons.
If the stun-gun looked more like a flashlight and was sturdy enough to perform the same function, it would appear more benign and not invite trouble.

The stun gun has an easy activation mechanism. If the assailant manages to grab it, I can push the engage button and either push forward or back to keep out of the way of the shock.
I think during the seconds, I would have to engage the shock factor and it would require more concentration than possible in activation.
