I found the center of studs quickly and accurately with this unit, indicating its high accuracy.
I did not have the chance to test the stud finder on other surfaces which could be more challenging.
The accuracy of the stud-finder is not great. It detects studs sometimes and not others. Making passes back and forth over the same area in both normal and deep scan modes yields a slightly different result each time.
I have noticed that the product is no longer accurate in locating studs. It goes off at random and is inconsistent.
