I used the trimmer to cut through some tall weeds with no woodiness to them.
The trimmer does a great job with small things like grass and soft leafed plants, up to quarter inch weeds with a bit of a woody stem.
While trimming the ditch area and yard, the trimmer slowed down substantially. It did alright when I took it to some forest land where grapefruit and Long Leaf Pine Trees are growing, until the diameter of the weed reached 3/8".

I found that the battery charges a little slow and was only 1/3 full after an hour or so. However, I was able to trim through my half-acre lawn edges without running out of battery and with zero jamming. Based on my experience, the battery is reliable.
