What users have to say about Total Gym APEX G5 Versatile Indoor Home Workout Total Body Strength Training Fitness Equipment
I can't use that right now, so I'll use the workouts on Youtube instead. I'm very happy with my Total Gym Apex G5 and I know that I will be using it frequently even though I have to set it up and take it.
It's not trying to be a bed or couch, it's trying to be a machine that you can use to do a lot of different exercises, and it's very easy to use.
It is not for people who want to build muscle mass or strength. It takes up little room, folds up easily, and has online and DVD support for routines and info.
I don't have time for a workout on days I have a busy schedule, so I take 2 days off from exercising each week, and I love the training deck, it's a great way to get in shape at an early age.
If you are super athletic, I would recommend getting a set of heavy dumbbells instead of this machine, because it would be nothing without the max weight.
FAQ
I don't want to disturb the tenants or neighbors, but how quiet is the machine?
It is very quiet.
What is the difference between this model and the G3 that we bought before?
I can tell you that G1 and G3 have 8 levels of resistance, while the other has 6 levels.
What squat board should I buy for this model?
You can go to total gym site and try to order the right one, but it will cost a lot. I ordered the squat stand extra large on Amazon, but I don't think it's the right one for this total gym.
Is it possible to add the weight bar and weights to this model?
The weight bar is at the bottom of the glideboard. The last I checked on the Total Gym website, the weight bar was out of stock.
Is it possible to use this if injuried knee?
I can't speak to returning it or using it for therapy because there is no assembly.
