I love the ability to directly connect ethernet to the device, which is a positive aspect of the connectivity options.
I had a problem with the Roku and spent five hours trying out every solution I saw, including resetting, specifying different wifi settings in the router, tweaking the Rokus network options, but nothing worked.

I was disappointed that the volume controls on the remote did not work with the TV.
FireTV devices can easily control the TV volume, but with Roku, I can only control the TV volume. Since I use surround sound, I keep the TV volume at zero and have to use my receiver's remote for volume and power.

I have personally used the Roku interface and found it fairly quick, responsive, and easy to navigate with many options and presets. However, it can be a little cumbersome and may not be the best.
I have complained about the touchy remote of this Roku device. The remote buttons require a bit of pressure to activate, but the volume and mute buttons on the side are very sensitive. This causes accidental pressing of the side buttons when pressing other buttons on the top, which sometimes results in undesired actions such as closing the current app. I am unsure if this issue is specific to my remote or if it is a common issue with all Roku devices.
