I upgraded my streaming experience from a Smart TV to a Roku because the Smart TV had weak WiFi connectivity. However, the Roku worked well for the first few days and then I started having problems.
I can use any wired or wireless headphone with my phone by sending the sound back from the Roku/TV.
My phone and other devices connect just fine and get speeds in the 500mbps range.
I prefer a wired connection, but the Amazon firestick provides a decent wireless connection and image with occasional buffering.

The remote can control most TVs, but not older ones for basic volume and off the air channeling. It also cannot control our current sound bars.

If you want the full 4K experience from a streaming device, go with Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) or Roku Ultra (not the LT).

The interface requires a few clicks to find what you want, but once you get the hang of it and use some shortcuts, it's not so bad.
The user interface is a bit clunky, which is common with devices in this age.
I gave a 3-star rating to the user interface due to the volume control not working and the intrusive problem when on pause.

After switching to Roku Streaming Stick 4K, I no longer have any issues and the image quality is noticeably better on my 57" HDTV TV.
On my 65inch Samsung TV, the video quality looks great.
I noticed some issues with HDR, but the picture quality is otherwise okay.
I can only transmit 1920x1080 resolution, not 4k.

The voice control feature is great as it saves me from the hassle of typing my email address on the virtual keyboard. I can now just say it.
I will use the voice command all the time as it works really well.
The remote control is responsive and the voice component works well.
I questioned the purpose of voice controls if they don't play movies or videos.
