The model is from 2018 and may have issues with newer 5g wifi connectivity, but in my case, it did not exist.
My streaming media player's version does not support newer Wi-Fi protocols, limiting the download speed.
I can't find my wifi network on the device.
I have noticed that the device connects well to WiFi but struggles with internet connection.

The physical remote and phone app work great. It's good to have multiple control options in case the physical remote gets lost or batteries run out. The remote is light, made of soft-touch plastic, and has very responsive buttons.
I am surprised that the current Roku remote does not have volume control, unlike my previous Rokus. I have to reach for my soundbar remote to adjust the volume.
The remote quality is lower than Firestick and it lacks Bluetooth, power, and volume controls.
The remote control is inconvenient as it only works when pointed exactly at the device.

I can attach the streaming media player to any TV or monitor with an HDMI and connect to WiFi to access nearly any streaming service.
I can listen through my phone and Bluetooth earbuds, indicating that the tablet has good streaming options.
I was surprised that there was no Spectrum app, which was unexpected for a professional installation and a bit embarrassing.
I am disappointed with the streaming quality of the base model. It is not as smooth and quick as I am used to from my other streaming services.

I think the on-screen user interface could have clearer headings, but I can still control things through my phone like a Chromecast with individual service apps or using the Roku app which works well.
I paid for a new product but received a used model with the previous owner's information in the user interface.
The initial home interface is slightly annoying as it does not start on an app and requires clicking over and selecting.
The interface is clunky and unrefined.

The video quality of this Roku device has been phenomenal and the video and audio quality on the streaming platforms is excellent.
I purchased the device in December 2019 and it is still going strong.
The streaming player can be taken with me when I am on the road.
After only 9 months, the stream quality and picture are very blurry.

I can control the volume with the remote on every app except the Roku.
I found the device easy to set up, but it lacked volume control, on/off button and voice control option, so I had to return it.
I noticed that the remote does not have voice command capability. It is not an experience rich sentence.
The remote lacks voice command capability, making it less immersive.
The new Roku model doesn't have volume control on the remote, so I have to reach for my soundbar's remote every time I need to adjust the volume.
