The Chromecast feature takes longer to connect compared to my 2015 version.
I had issues with certain apps running on mid-level streaming devices, such as Paramount+, Plex, PBS, and Peacock, which seemed to burn out. Occasionally, YT TV was also affected.
I must warn that it is not compatible with Apple laptops, iPads, or Airplay.
I faced connectivity issues while using the screencasting feature. Screen freezes and connection drops were too frequent to attempt using it.

The remote control works with Sonos Playbar and 5.1 system and can control TV power, input, and volume.
While watching a YouTube video, I can use both my phone and remote control to operate it.
I strongly dislike the remote control that comes with the device. The buttons are easy to press by accident and it takes the barest amount of pressure on any part of these huge buttons to activate it causing whatever I was watching to disappear.
The remote control is uncomfortable to hold and often adjacent buttons are pressed instead of the intended one.

I was able to easily download and install the DirecTV Streaming App on my streamer by adding Downloader and making myself a developer.
I have noticed that our product has a more powerful processor than others.
I bought this device to stream Spectrum TV, but there was no Spectrum App available from the google APP store. The only way to stream was to cast it from my phone app, which limited the use of the device.

The interface is well-designed.
The user interface asks for a CAPTCHA and when the on-screen keyboard is brought up, it pushes it partially off-screen, making it impossible to read. This indicates poor user interface design.
I am dissatisfied with the user interface and the remote control.

At certain times, the video quality degrades significantly due to our ISP's inability to handle prime-time traffic.
When I play directly from Chromecast app without my phone, I experience washed out colors and motion artefacts at times.

I was thrilled to control Chromecast with my voice after connecting Kasa.
I am happy with the voice recognition feature of the device, but I am unsure if it is better because of the newer device or not.
