The integration of Google TV provides a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
I faced connectivity issues during setup and use, even after factory reset and setting up for a second time.

The remote defaulted to HDMI CEC and it turns on/off the Chromecast instead, which powers the TV on/off through the HDMI.
The remote control feels cheap and uncomfortable in my hand. It's hard to use as adjacent buttons are often pressed instead of the intended one.
The remote control keeps backing out of apps when resting on the sofa or in my pocket.

I was able to easily download and install the DirecTV Streaming App on my streamer after adding Downloader and making myself a developer.
Navigating and loading apps is very easy.
I had issues with certain apps running on mid level sticks of fire. They seemed to burn out with apps like Paramount+, Plex, PBS, and Peacock. Occasionally YT TV as well.
When I click on an item on my list, I am still punted to the service it streams from and have to find it there anyway.

Watching videos on a bigger TV screen is nicer than on a computer screen.

I like the voice control feature and the ability to turn it on and off with one remote.
I am happy with the voice recognition of the device, but I am not sure if it is better because of the newer device or not.
