I can connect the device to my computer, phone, or tablet using the USB-C output and either directly to my computer or through a router. The device also has connectivity options for streaming-media-players.
I spent hours with my networking genius buddy doing packet captures and realized that the device simply did not negotiate DHCP or take a fixed IP address.
