About Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max streaming device
67% appreciated the connectivity options, but 33% wished more
The device offers lightning-fast connectivity and improved network performance with support for Wi-Fi 6E technology, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted streaming of our favorite movies, shows, and live TV.
I am dissatisfied with the product as it should have only been marketed as WIFI 6 and not 6E.
The wifi connection keeps failing every 15-20 minutes despite being 10 feet away from the wifi-6 modem/router.
Without wifi 6, the stick is not much faster than prior models.

66% liked the remote control, but 34% didn't
The remote control has voice control with Alexa, enabling me to search for content, control playback, and check the weather with simple voice commands.
I have complained that the remote control feels like a 1 dollar remote ordered on Temu and its built quality is subpar. I never had this problem on a chromecast remote that I have been using for 1+ years.
I am disappointed with the remote control. It is still the worst one and lacks backlight keys or glow-in-the-dark features, which is unacceptable in 2024.
The remote control feels cheap and squeaks when I use it.

68% praised the streaming options, but 32% didn't
There are thousands of apps available including popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and more.
I suggest getting a Roku instead of this option for streaming on your TV.
Some streaming apps fail to launch on our streaming stick.
The tablet's user interface makes it easy to find Amazon-favored streaming channels, but buries others deep in the menus.

67% liked the intuitive user interface, but 33% found it cluttered
The user interface makes it easy to find Amazon-favored streaming channels, but difficult to find other streaming channels deep in the menus.
The Firestick user interface has always been poorly designed and now it is even worse in the current version.
The user interface is vexing despite aggregating most streaming channels into a single access point.
70% appreciated the video quality, though 30% experienced issues
The device has lightning-fast connectivity and improved network performance, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted streaming of my favorite movies, shows, and live TV.
Sometimes the video quality starts to lag soon after starting to watch something and sometimes well into the video.
I encountered a problem where the audio was ahead of the video, making for an unpleasant viewing experience.
After a few hours, the audio and video go out of sync and lips move a bit after the sound came through.

67% found the voice control convenient, but 33% faced issues
Using the voice remote to switch inputs is inconvenient and limits access to many features.
Voice search works well in English, but for other languages, Chromecast is better as its voice assistant understands polish language commands and delivers polish content. FireOS does not support the polish language.
