The remote control has voice control with Alexa, enabling me to search for content, control playback, and check the weather with simple voice commands.
I have complained that the remote control feels like a 1 dollar remote ordered on Temu and its built quality is subpar. I never had this problem on a chromecast remote that I have been using for 1+ years.
I am disappointed with the remote control. It is still the worst one and lacks backlight keys or glow-in-the-dark features, which is unacceptable in 2024.
The remote control feels cheap and squeaks when I use it.

The Firestick user interface has always been poorly designed and now it is even worse in the current version.
The user interface is vexing despite aggregating most streaming channels into a single access point.

I can now enjoy videos from Netflix and other sources with amazing detail and storefront quality on my screen.
Sometimes the video quality starts to lag soon after starting to watch something and sometimes well into the video.
I encountered a problem where the audio was ahead of the video, making for an unpleasant viewing experience.

Ive gotten so used to voice control; its really convenient to change shows or pause playback just by speaking.
I love the voice control feature of the Firestick with many shows to watch.
Using the voice remote to switch inputs is inconvenient and limits access to many features.
Voice search works well in English, but for other languages, Chromecast is better as its voice assistant understands polish language commands and delivers polish content. FireOS does not support the polish language.
