I love the powerdirect feature of the vacuum as it performs equally well on all surfaces without the need to switch modes from hard surface to carpet.
I appreciate that the stick vacuum has one piece for cleaning both porcelain tile floors and carpet without changing tools, unlike my old Shark vacuum which had a difficult floor attachment that required changing attachments.
I like the feature of the vacuum cleaner that allows me to switch from hard surfaces to carpet/rug with the touch of a switch.
On the first floor of my home, the Shark vacuum can handle both tile and rug flooring.

The vacuum is not very loud and doesn't bother my cat who is pretty skittish. It's quiet enough to ask Alexa to turn a light on while vacuuming.
