I was initially concerned that the blades might scuff the floor, but it turned out to be fine. The blades are soft enough not to scuff the floor but firm enough to help pull rug fibers apart to let the vacuum have access to dirt below.
This stick vacuum could be the only vacuum needed for a condo, townhouse or small house and would do a fine job for all vacuum tasks.
The product is ideal for smaller spaces and easy to control, with no fear of hitting furniture. It is also super versatile.
The stick vacuum has articulated joints which allow me to clean under things like chairs and couches without stooping down or losing contact with the floor itself.
