While vacuuming, I noticed that the Shark vacuum feels heavy in my hand, but it has a large dust cup and a powerful motor, making the extra weight worth it. It is also easy to push and glides smoothly over floors.

I find the vacuum to have decent suction power and it does a fairly decent job of vacuuming both hard surfaces and carpet.
I compared the suction power of this stick-vacuum-electric-broom with my old one and found that with my old one, the carpet was visibly vacuumed and standing up. But with this one, I couldn even see or feel that the carpet had been vacuumed.
