Half of the buttons on the unit don't work or work every now and then. I had to press the disc open button about 35 times to get it to work.

The sound quality of our stereo-shelf-system is great.
When I played the first track on the stereo-shelf-system, I noticed that the sound quality was not great and it got worse by the time I got to the 5th selection. The orchestration was wobbly and the voices and bottom base were muffled to the point where I could hardly hear the artist singing.
I tried all the preset equalizers and the sound quality was horrible, each one worse than the next.
