About Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Home Audio Amplifier - 100W 5 Channel Home Theater Power Stereo Receiver
Overall Feedback:
77% positive
81% were impressed with the power output
I have noticed that the stereo-receiver inputs 36 watts of power yet outputs 100 watts, which is almost three times the power output than the input power.
I was worried about the power output of the stereo-receiver, but I got plenty of volume. The power output is 20 watts per channel.
92% were impressed with the multi-room capability
This device is the most compact solution with all the features, much smaller than a typical AV home theater receiver.
73% were satisfied with the connectivity options, but 27% weren't
I have a receiver with FM tuner, Bluetooth connectivity, 2 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output, and RCA Aux ports.
The receiver has FM tuner, Bluetooth connectivity, 2 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output, and RCA Aux input ports.
The Bluetooth connection cuts out if the broadcasting device is more than a few feet away. I have experienced this with multiple iPhones.
I bought this stereo-receiver for its HDMI connection with 5.1 capability, but unfortunately none of the HDMI ports functioned at all. Three different components did not even see the connection.
71% found it compatible, but 29% didn't
I was able to connect multiple devices like TV audio, DVD player, Apple TV, iPhone via Bluetooth and an HDMI switch.
I had to use the remote included with the unit as the stereo-receiver was not compatible with my COX cable remote.
I have noticed that the stereo-receiver inputs 36 watts of power yet outputs 100 watts, which is almost three times the power output than the input power.
The stereo-receiver has cosmetic and functional defects. It has an AM/FM button that cycles through both choices when selecting input mode, which is redundant and annoying. Additionally, it does not recall the previous volume level or input mode from the last power-off.
The remote has more and less functionality than the front panel. You can select which audio input to use but cannot set output levels for any one of the 4 pairs of speakers which it supports, just the master volume. The front panel doesn't have a knob to tune AM or FM channels, you have to manually enter the frequency on the remote.

Even though the product has a great price and features, I would have been better off buying a more expensive amp or receiver with better quality control and durability.
