This receiver is great for the average person and can connect multiple devices like cable box, streaming stick/box, game console, and BlueRay player. The streaming stick/device can be plugged into the TV with audio returned to the receiver via optical, ARC, or the TV audio in RCA jacks, depending on the setup.
I can't use vintage composite devices like old game systems, a VCR or laser disc with this stereo-receiver as it has no analog video capabilities.
