About Pyle Home Audio Power Amplifier System - 300W 4 Channel Theater Power Stereo Sound Receiver
80% were impressed with the power output, but 20% weren't
I have very specific expectations for my stereo-receiver. I want to drive four large, power-hungry speakers and produce clean sound at a volume I can feel in my bones. This amp has the power to drive my speakers.
I think the volume steps are too large and it would be better to have more variable volume output space. Each step of the volume/volume knob is represented by increments of 2.
83% highlighted the user interface, but 17% didn't
The stereo-receiver has a front-panel 3.5mm input labeled 'iPod/MP3', a USB input, and two mic inputs with their own joint volume, bass, treble, and echo knobs.
The tone controls are simple and straightforward, like those of yesteryear. It's refreshing to quickly adjust tone without having to scroll through multiple screens, unlike those annoying programs/subprograms so popular today.
My main issue with the stereo receiver is that the settings are not retained when turned off and then back on, requiring me to readjust the settings every time.
82% found the sound quality exceptional.
The amplifier produces clean sound with no clipping, distortion, crisp treble up to dog-whistle, and tight base all the way down to earth tremors.
86% were impressed with the multi-room capability
I was able to hook up more than one speaker to each port of the stereo-receiver, which has multi-room capability.
65% were satisfied with the connectivity options, but 35% weren't
The stereo receiver has a front-panel 3.5mm input labeled 'iPod/MP3', a USB input, and two mic inputs with their own joint volume, bass, treble, and echo knobs.
I would have preferred a headphone output and the ability to plug in a wireless headphone unit to bypass the speakers, but unfortunately, this unit did not have those options.
I need to buy a separate wireless adapter to connect my iPhone or any Bluetooth device as the stereo-receiver does not have Bluetooth connectivity.
