Overall Feedback:
80% positive
83% were satisfied with the connectivity options, but 17% weren't
We can connect the cable signal into the TV and use the eARC signal for the audio via the existing HDMI connection as a cheaper solution suggested by the company.
We can install an EDID management device like HDFIX22, which costs around $250 on Amazon, between the TV and the receiver.
67% highlighted the user interface
I found the user interface mostly well done, but had to resort to checking the manual for a few things that weren't readily apparent.
89% were impressed with the power output, but 11% weren't
I love how the receiver has a lot of power for any need and makes my TV come alive with 4K upscale.
The overall weight of the stereo-receiver indicates a solid transformer that will produce all the power I need.
I noticed that the product has a little less power per channel than the one it is replacing.
The product has slightly less power per channel than the one it is replacing.
I suggest that the sound cutting out for 3-5 seconds while watching a movie or playing music could be due to a power issue.
71% found it compatible, but 29% didn't
I have found that the receiver works flawlessly with my XBOX series X using the one 8K input.
I am aware of the chip glitch that prevents getting the full 120hz with gaming consoles and have signed up to receive the free converter once it's available.
I faced issues with the audio setup and had to turn off EARC. I used digital optical for audio, Opt1 for streaming and XBOX, and Opt 2 for the PC.
The receiver loses audio signal periodically and does not work with Spectrum cable boxes. This behavior was not present in the previous receiver (Onkyo 3007).
We can connect the cable signal into the TV and use the eARC signal for the audio via the existing HDMI connection as a cheaper solution suggested by the company.
I find that Bluetooth connectivity is easy and I can control the device from the receiver remote.
