About Rowenta DW2459 Access Steam Iron
76% were impressed with water tank capacity, while 24% weren't
Filling the water tank is a bit cumbersome and the dark tinted plastic for the tank makes it hard to see the water level.
In the highest steam settings, I run out of water every 3 shirts even though the water tank is quite big (over 12oz).
88% found the temperature control helpful, yet 12% faced problems
I had trouble figuring out how to set the temperature control and had to watch a youtube video to understand it.
I find it difficult to see the heat control settings and water level while filling it.
The temperature control is not easy to read as it is located under the handle.
Locating and setting the temperature control is difficult as it is hidden under the handle/water container. The lack of fabric names on the dial further complicates it.
87% liked the steam output
On a medium setting, I noticed that the steam output is incredible and it takes care of cotton easily without multiple passes. Rephrased: The steam output is incredible on a medium setting and it takes care of cotton easily without multiple passes.
92% liked the steam burst function, although 8% encountered issues
The steam iron provides a burst of steam when needed.
The burst-of-steam function works, but there is a warning not to use it repeatedly.
I tried using the steam function but nothing came out, which was puzzling. Later, hot water came flowing down onto my feet. It is assumed that the water came out of the iron and got heated.
I am unhappy with the steam burst function of the iron. When I pressed the steam burst button, I was shocked to see a splatter of white particles all over my black fabric. My old Sunbeam iron never did that.

90% found the design lightweight, yet 10% were disappointed
I was attracted to the iron because of its cool design and was pleased to see that the fashioned tip made it easier to access tighter areas like between buttons.
The steam iron is lightweight and has helped me avoid tired wrists.
I have noticed that this iron is not very lightweight, but it is also not as heavy as some of my earlier irons.
84% appreciated the auto shut-off, whereas 16% raised concerns
The auto-off feature turns on randomly while in use and shaking or jiggling the iron will not turn it back on once the light begins to blink.
After 6 weeks of purchase, the auto shut off kept coming on.
The iron turns on fine and starts warming up, but then the light starts to flash after about 30 seconds indicating it is in auto-shutoff mode.
The auto shut-off feature of the iron is not working properly. It shuts off and starts to cool down within 10 seconds of beginning to iron, and the shutoff light does not blink.
90% appreciated the anti-drip feature, whereas 10% raised concerns
When using the steam function, the unit constantly dripped water and the anti-drip feature is false advertisement.
I noticed that the machine leaks water out the back, causing puddles on the ironing board when standing up.
