About Proctor Silex Iron & Vertical Steamer for Clothes
Overall Feedback:
68% positive
70% appreciated the auto shut-off
The automatic shut-off feature is fantastic for me as it helps when I get distracted while sewing.
I found the automatic shut-off feature very useful.
I chose this iron because it doesn't turn off automatically after a few minutes of non-use. I like that feature.
83% found the design lightweight
The lightweight design helps reduce strain on your hands and wrists, which can be a concern with heavier irons, especially if you suffer from joint issues or arthritis.
72% liked the steam output
I am satisfied with the steam feature of the iron as it provides a generous burst of steam while ironing or using it as a steamer.
Depending on the position of the iron, the auto shut-off feature activates after a period of inactivity. If the iron is left on its soleplate, it shuts off within 30 seconds, while if its left upright, it turns off after 8 minutes of inactivity.
I have an iron with a large water reservoir, so I don't have to fill it as often as my last iron.
