I noticed that the iron uses a lot of water, almost half a tank to steam iron one shirt. However, very little steam comes out of the vents.

When I put a full tank of water in the iron, it came out of the bottom through various cracks and crevices including the power cord.
I found it almost impossible to see the water level in the chamber.

As long as I set the temperature in the correct range and point the sole plate down, the steam will be dispensed constantly.
I measured the temperature of the iron on the highest setting. The center measured 158F and the tip and bottom both measured around 138F.
I am dissatisfied with the temperature control of my steam-iron. Even on the highest setting, it doesn't get very hot and only heats up to a temperature that my old iron did at just over the half-way setting, not even close to the highest Cotton/Linen setting of my old iron.

After the automatic shut down is activated, it only takes a slight movement of the iron to get the heat back on within seconds to iron the next piece of fabric sewn.

I have been using it for over a year now and have not experienced any leaks to complain about, indicating that the anti-drip feature is working well.
When on the steam and cotton setting, the iron spits and drips water, leaving streaks and spots of dampness on the fabric.
