About BLACK+DECKER Classic Steam Iron, F67E
72% were impressed with water tank capacity, while 28% weren't
The maximum capacity of our steam iron's water tank is 2.5 to 3 ounces.
I noticed that the iron has a small water tank capacity and only a small clear place to see the water level.
The water reservoir is very sensitive. One needs to be careful while filling it as even a slight excess of water can cause leaking.
75% found the temperature control helpful, yet 25% faced problems
The heat control is dangerous and there is no steam control or water window.
78% liked the steam output, however 22% didn't
Steam is distributed evenly and wrinkles just melt away.
I am disappointed with the amount of steam, hotness, and steam-surge.
On the highest setting with a full tank of water, very little steam is produced.
85% liked the steam burst function, although 15% encountered issues
The steam function helps in taking out tougher wrinkles.
The steam burst function of the iron covers most wrinkles and for extreme cases, a real spray bottle works better than any built-in spray ever did.
I find it inconvenient that the iron does not have a steam burst button for giving fabric an extra shot of steam.
83% found the design lightweight, yet 17% were disappointed
The iron is too heavy for my small wrists.
79% appreciated the auto shut-off, whereas 21% raised concerns
I have never faced any problem with the auto shut-off turning off when I set it down for a couple of minutes while repositioning ironing. If it turns off because I have left it sitting for longer than that then the auto-shut off is doing exactly what it should.
I have an iron with an auto-shutoff feature that is supposed to turn off after 30 seconds when on its side or soleplate or after 8 minutes when upright and inactive. However, it turns off whenever it pleases.
On the product page, the auto shut off feature was not listed, but it was mentioned on the box when it arrived.
84% appreciated the anti-drip feature, whereas 16% raised concerns
The steam iron drips out the front on clothes.
