The camera has impressive waterproofing and is great for underwater shots. I also compared it with phones that claim to be waterproof but have limitations.
I dropped my camera in a river and it was underwater for 10 days. However, when I recovered it, it still worked and I was able to take underwater photos and access previous pics. I am very impressed with the water resistance of my camera.
I accidentally dropped my camera into the dishwasher and it went through a heavy wash cycle with soap and hot water under pressure. Surprisingly, the camera still works, proving that it is waterproof and can withstand such conditions.
I submerged the camera in the ocean and pool multiple times and was impressed that it still took good video/pictures.
