About Crescent 3/8" Drive 72 Tooth Quick Release Flex Head Teardrop Ratchet
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
91% praised the adjustable torque setting, but 9% found it difficult to set
I have noticed that the direction lever for the forward/reverse is opposite of what it normally is on all of my other ratchets, causing inconvenience. Therefore, I am returning the product.
If you push the socket wrench too hard while bending it to a sharp angle, the screw that holds the handle and head together will walk out of the hole due to the force.
95% praised the durable construction, but 5% experienced wear and tear
I find the ratchet to be well built and durable.

If you push the socket wrench too hard while bending it to a sharp angle, the screw holding the handle and head together may come out due to the force.
94% appreciated the smooth ratcheting mechanism, but 6% found it jamming occasionally
I compared the ratcheting mechanism of socket-wrenches and found that the CRESCENT has an equal look, chrome, strength, ratcheting feature, and flexible head as KOBALT.
The direction lever for the forward/reverse is opposite of what I'm used to on my other ratchets. It trips me up every time I use the wrench and I don't want to deal with it.
I have complained that the chrome on the ratchet head is thin and not well adhered to the base metal. During the first use, the light friction from my gloves caused the chrome to peel off in sharp strips and flakes, leaving behind sharp burrs on the ratchet head that cut my gloves and left chrome strips and flakes on the parts being removed.
The ratcheting mechanism is weak and rocks around when I try to pull on it.
97% praised the high-quality sockets, but 3% experienced wear and tear
I have complained that the detent is weak and it moves when I push the socket release button. It does not hold position and just rocks around when I try to pull on it.
I have noticed that the direction lever for the forward/reverse is opposite of what it normally is on all of my other ratchets, causing inconvenience. Therefore, I am returning the product.
I appreciate the 72-tooth reversible ratchet design of this tool, which allows for smooth and precise ratcheting in tight spaces, making it ideal for tackling a wide range of tasks.
These ratchets are some of the better ones I have ever worked with and it is a complete joy to wrench with them compared to most of the junk I have used previously.
