About EPAuto 1/4” & 3/8” Drive Socket Set
Overall Feedback:
89% positive
93% praised the adjustable torque setting, but 7% found it difficult to set
I have difficulty using the socket-wrench to change spark plugs as it has weak points and a weak grip, making it hard to pull out the socket with a spark plug.
90% praised the durable construction, but 10% experienced wear and tear
The socket-wrenches are durable and can handle up to 125 foot lbs of hand cranking. I compared them with other low end sets and they handled it with ease.
I've noticed that the 3/4 extension arm is showing weakness when holding sockets, particularly during spark plug work. Normal wear is likely the cause.
My socket-wrench has a weak grip and I can't even pull the socket out with a spark plug. It comes loose easily.
81% liked the comfortable grip, but 19% found it fatiguing to hold
I had difficulty pulling out the socket with a spark plug due to the weak grip of the socket-wrench.
71% appreciated the smooth ratcheting mechanism, but 29% found it jamming occasionally
When I tighten, the ratchet skips and when I loosen, it is completely stripped.
The sockets are very hard to remove and get stuck on the ratchet, even if I lever them off with a screwdriver.
The small ratchet in the set broke the first time I used it, even though I was not applying a great deal of torque to the bike rack I was assembling.
90% praised the high-quality sockets, but 10% experienced wear and tear
The sockets are of decent quality, but the ratchets feel cheap and flimsy.
I have difficulty using the socket-wrench to change spark plugs as it has weak points and a weak grip, making it hard to pull out the socket with a spark plug.
I was able to loosen the bolt on the first try with the socket-wrench, saving me time and money by not having to take the whole mower to a shop to sharpen or replace the blade.
These ratchets are some of the better ones I have ever worked with and it is a complete joy to wrench with them compared to most of the junk I have used previously.
I find the socket wrench useless because it has 72 teeth and a 5 degree socket engagement, but the handle takes 10 degrees to engage the head.
