About Flexible Flyer Flying Saucer Snow Sled
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
66% found it comfortable to ride
I love the snow sleds. Initially, I was unsure about buying them due to mixed reviews. However, I went ahead and bought them and was very happy with the purchase. My daughter and I were able to go on them together with no problem, despite my heavy weight. I was afraid that they might break, but they held up well and I am very happy with the purchase.
63% loved the sleek design, while 37% thought it was too flashy
I noticed that the design and color of the snow sleds are not exactly as pictured. The colors are solid and I got orange, green and blue colors. For me, it suited better as each boy gets a designated color.
66% praised its durability, but 34% experienced breaks and cracks
The sleds were not durable and cracked at the handle during the first use. Within a month, they became unusable and had to be thrown away due to large cracks.
The sled's brittle and minimally flexible plastic is a serious design flaw for a snow sled.
Our 5 and 8 year-olds found the snow-sleds not durable enough.
63% liked the ease of steering
These saucer sleds are easy to steer and go faster and farther than our regular long sled.
65% appreciated the stable ride, but 35% experienced tip-overs
We were able to do jumps and run into each other without any issues while using the sleds in -11 temperature.

The sled is a serious design flaw as it is made of brittle and minimally flexible plastic.
67% appreciated the excellent traction, though 33% experienced slipping
On a moderate slope, I glide fast on the sleds.
I prefer this sled over my foam sled when I use it for a couple of houses down some serious hills.
One of our snow-sleds broke after two runs and had sharp, jagged edges that could have caused injury.

I compared the design and color of two different snow-sleds, Lucky Bums and Slippery Racer, and decided to go with the latter due to complaints of missing parts and cheaper plastic on the former.
