About TCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV
Overall Feedback:
93% positive
89% were satisfied with the audio quality, but 11% weren't satisfied
The audio quality is good, but there are common audio spikes in movies and some other shows.
The audio/speakers quality of this smart-tv is excellent. A level of '20' (out of 100) is fine in my quiet room.
Sometimes the sound quality is muffled and not up to the mark.
82% were happy with the connectivity options, but 18% raised concerns
I can attach an Ethernet cord instead of using wireless to ensure a constant streaming experience.
The smart-tv works great with Amazon Fire Stick, casting iPhone and Android smart phones, and has built-in Roku, Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu and YouTube. It also includes 3 HDMI ports and an optional voice command Roku tv remote.
I am having trouble connecting my smart TV to the wireless internet. I tried searching for a fix on Google, but the tech support is awful.
I used to use a smart TV that could connect to other devices via bluetooth just by having the bluetooth on and connecting using prompted codes. I don't like the connectivity options of TCL TV.
73% were impressed with the bezel and screen design, but 27% weren't impressed
I see a rainbow shaped grey and white scale shadow on the screen.
89% appreciated the color accuracy, but 11% didn't find it exceptional
The color looks good and the text and graphics are sharp.
Without HDR, I cannot reproduce as many colors and the color transitions are harsh and unnatural.
I find the skin colors on this TV to be unnatural and there are not enough picture setting controls to fix it.
90% were impressed by the response time, but 10% weren't
My smart-tv has a quicker response time than my recently purchased Roku Ultra.
The TV is slow to respond through the remote or phone app.
I experienced a 3 second delay between pressing a button on the remote and the TV's response.
The sound quality of the TV is fantastic. I am surprised by it. Connecting it to Bluetooth speakers can give a more surround stereo sound, but the TV sound on its own may be sufficient for some.
I have audio issues with my TV and the sound is muffled. I tried unplugging and plugging the power cord back in, but the issue persists.
