Corn cob is great for bird cage droppings, but it is not absorbent.
I placed the corn-based product under wood chips to help absorb, but it made my rabbit sick.
Corncob bedding can cause Aspergillosis if eaten as it carries aspergillum fungus.
I suspect that the corn cob litter caused an intestinal blockage in my hamster and led to her death. This suggests that the litter's absorbency may not be appropriate for small rodents.

After switching to this corn litter, my hamster died 4 months later, indicating a negative impact on the longevity of the small animal bedding litter.
After using the product for 2 months with no issues, I used a second bag for 2 nights and my rabbit became paralyzed with a parasite. I am sure that the product was the problem as there were no other changes made and my rabbit was not around any other animals.
I had an African grey for 15 years without any problem till I bought this product and thought it was safe. However, my African grey died after consuming it.

I used this litter for my mice because of its great ammonia control. Some mice don't like the texture of it, but luckily my mice love it and constantly dig to the bottom of their cage and in their litter box just so they can play in it!
