The bedding is of high quality, very soft, and extremely absorbent. It has no odor and no mess.
During the day, I have to shift some of the litter to cover what is there as it is not quite as absorbent as other litters.

I have found that the product effectively absorbs Guinea pig pee and controls odor.
I think this bedding doesn't have the best odor control, but I believe dwarf hamsters have smellier pee than Syrians and other larger small pets.
I got a batch from Amazon that had a strange mint or wintergreen smell. I used the bedding for my rats for one night and changed it the next day when I noticed the smell hadn't disappeared yet.
When I opened the package, I experienced a strong chemical-like smell, indicating poor odor control.
