I slept with it for 2 nights so it wouldn't smell like mama when my son went to daycare for the first time.
It was very comfortable for him and it fit on the cots that they provided. The teachers in that room said that it was very easy to wash and dry and that it was a lot easier to deal with than sheets/blankets.
If you wash the pillow, don't leave it in the machine because it's replaceable, and take it out before you wash the mat.
It was a lot easier to set up than getting a fitted sheet, so I was confident in buying this for my son, who has been staying at school for the first time this year.
The fabric is very durable, and easy to roll up, which makes it ideal for our little guy to carry to and from school.
Question & Answers
Should I buy this or the sleeping bag when I stay at a party for my son to sleep until we leave, because I want something to use when I get home?
This is similar to a sleeping bag in that it has a place for your toddler to lay down.
Did anyone wash it in a top loader?
My son's nap mat has been washed in a top loader at least once a week for the past 2 years. I use a normal wash, hot water, and dry it with high heat.
Is it possible for this to be personalized?
We don't offer embroidered on service, the material can be embroidered on.
Is it treated with flame retardants?
The tag on the sleep mat says it is not fire proof and must be kept away from heat sources.
How compact can it be if you removed the pillow? How much space would it take up in a suitcase?
It's not too thin but if you roll it up the way they want you to, it's about 16 inches round.
