The app is the heart of the product. Without it, all you have are photos of photos. The app allows conversion and I am rating it 4 stars mostly on its usefulness.
The unit can be assembled in less than 5 minutes and comes with batteries to start right away.
With the shorter length legs supplied in the box, I am able to get better and sharper results with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
99% found it easy to scan negatives
Setting up the scanner is fairly easy, even without proper instructions. Using the scanner is also easy after downloading the KLIM app on Play Store or Apple App Store.
I found it easy to set up and use the scanner with my iPhone. I was able to see what was on the slides and save the images.
99% praised the high-quality scanned images
The quality of the scanned image is similar to the quality of the slide, even if some were in rough shape.
I successfully scanned a 35mm slide that is almost 60 years old and the quality of the digital image is pretty good.
97% appreciated its compact design
The assembly of the unit can be done in less than 5 minutes, indicating it is easy to carry and maneuver.

I faced issues with the provided app (PicScanner by Rybozen) due to its low resolution. However, I found KODAK Mobile Film Scanner by PictoScanner which worked perfectly for both negatives and positives.
I connected the scanner to my Linux computer and transferred images quickly.
