The sketchbook has plenty of nice and thick pages. Graphite, ink, color pencils, and oil pastels glide on with ease.
The paper can prevent ripping from excessive force/strokes, but brush markers cannot be used on it.
The paper is too thin and warps under the pressure of the pen tip, making it difficult to write or draw.

The sketchbook has a front cover made of paper similar in thickness to the pages inside and a back cover made of thick cardboard.
The back of my sketchbook has a thick cardboard piece, but it is starting to tear out just from turning the pages each day.
The binding and backplate are excellent and I'm not worried about it falling apart. However, the paper quality is so bad that I felt the need to warn others.
I would not recommend the paper for fancy finished drawings as it is thin and the quality is not great.
