About Ohuhu Sketchbook Marker Paper Pad: 8.3"x8.3" Square Art Sketch Book Drawing Papers
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
81% praised the binding durability, yet 19% struggled
I have not faced any of the problems mentioned earlier with this sketchbook-notebook, like sticking together, getting wet, inks bleeding through, the spine getting cracked, the pages bending or tearing.
The elastic on my bulletjournal seems thinner compared to this one, which appears to be more durable.
The sketchbook is resistant to alcohol markers, but using it will render the other side difficult to use.
I am starting to feel a little weakness in the binding of the sketchbook, although I have worked quickly through it and there wasn't much time for it to fall apart.
80% praised the size and portability
The size of the product is perfect for travel and it should fit in a backpack, briefcase or bag without any problem.
The 8x8 size is the perfect balance of compact and cozy with enough room to create without feeling cramped.
84% appreciated the paper weight and texture, while 16% didn't
The paper quality is great and it feels nice to write and draw on with little to no resistance against graphite and pens.
The sketchbook is not actually A4 size as it has a pre-cut nudge which results in loss of paper and it is taller than A4, despite being marketed as A4 size.
I found that the paper buckles badly with light washes, making it unsuitable for watercolours.
88% liked the cover material's durability, while 12% wished for more
I did not like the texture of the sketchbook cover. It had a weirdly textured with a ton of small lines, and an almost vinyl/plastic feel to it.
I have not faced any of the problems mentioned earlier with this sketchbook-notebook, like sticking together, getting wet, inks bleeding through, the spine getting cracked, the pages bending or tearing.
The paper has a glossiness that causes it to squeak when going over it quickly with a marker, even a regular permanent marker.
