About CONDA 8.5"x11" Double-Sided Hardbound Sketchbook
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
81% praised the size and portability, yet 19% found it too bulky
The sketchbook has 60 sheets of non-perforated fine textured acid-free 60lb paper and measures 9" x 12".
The sketch pad is suitable for drawing or painting and is 8.5"x11" in size.
I wish the sketchbook was easier to fold in half so I can draw on just one page. It feels like I am going to rip the page if I fold it backwards without being careful enough.
68% appreciated the paper weight and texture, while 32% didn't
The paper texture is smooth with enough tooth to accept medium application, allowing for smooth coloring or sketching.
The paper is thin and rough textured like cheap construction paper, causing the pens to bleed through and wear out sooner.
The paper weight is actually 24lb, not 60lb as described. This may be problematic for users seeking a specific weight of paper.
73% liked the cover material's durability
The cover is heavy and rough enough for watercolor and smooth enough for quick writing.
77% praised the binding durability, yet 23% struggled
I have complained that the spiral binding of the sketchbooks was crushed, making them difficult to use/turn pages.
I have noticed that the spiral binding of the sketchbook allows it to lay completely flat.
The sketchbook's spiral binding allows it to lay completely flat, indicating its durability.
I have used this paper for pencil sketching, color pencils with blending sticks, and light watercolor painting. The paper feels quite good and holds up well with each application, without any worry of bleeding or page deformation.
The sticky label in the bottom right corner of the cover is extremely difficult to remove and leaves a sticky residue.
