The sketchbook has thick, textured paper that is lightweight and provides a satisfying scratchiness when drawing with an ink pen.
I tested the sketchbook with oil pastels and alcohol markers and was surprised that it held up really well, even though it's not made for them. The paper did bleed, but it didn't tear up.
I haven't been sketching in a long time, so the book is still not ripping by itself.
I think the cover and binding of the sketchbook look nice, but the paper quality is terrible.
