About Snow Joe 24V-X2-SB18-TV1 24-Volt IONMAX Snow Blower Bundle
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
77% liked the long-lasting battery life, but 23% found it short
I cleaned about 600 sqft of snow with one bar left using the two batteries. The charging time to full is less than 2 hours. However, I haven't used it long enough to know the capacity degradation that is bound to happen.
The batteries don't die, they slow down and stop, but then go again and stop immediately.
My battery died just as I finished the whole thing.
73% liked the adjustable chute control, but 27% found it flimsy
I can adjust the left-right motion of the discharge chute with the console, but I have to manually reach the chute to adjust its height.
77% impressed with its sturdy build quality, but 23% experienced some issues with rust
I doubt that the machine will last for 3 seasons due to its low quality construction.
84% praised its user-friendly design
I found the snow blower pretty easy to use. The faster I walked, the farther the snow flew. However, it did bog down when I had to get through a wind blown drift. I had to go slow and let it deal with it.
This snow blower is easy to assemble, takes less than 5 minutes to assemble, batteries charge fast, starts effortlessly, and there is no risk of torn rotator cuffs trying to start a gas one.
71% appreciated its relatively quiet operation, though 29% found it too loud
I did not mention the noise level of the product.
79% liked the efficient performance, but 21% had issues with clogging
I compared the performance of this snow blower with my gas powered Honda snow blower. The motor rotation speed of this snow blower gets bogged down and only throws snow about 8 ft away, whereas the gas powered Honda throws about 30 ft.
83% found it lightweight and easy to maneuver
This snow blower is much lighter than the gas-powered Honda and can be easily carried in a car if needed, unlike the Honda due to its weight and size.
This snow blower is very portable and would be a great choice for someone with a smaller one or two car driveway or who does not get 6 Plus inches of snow on a regular basis.
I cleaned about 600 sqft of snow with one bar left using the two batteries. The charging time to full is less than 2 hours. However, I haven't used it long enough to know the capacity degradation that is bound to happen.
The safety button is the worst thing about this product. I have to push the button in before I can squeeze the level for the motor to run. Everytime I let off the handle, the auger stops spinning and I have to do it again. This is a real pain when I have to let off the handle to move the power cord or whatever else.
