The coffee maker has three size settings for coffee. The smallest cup requires 1 1/2 scoop, mid size requires 2 scoops and largest cup requires 2 1/2 scoops.
For a little more money, I can get a unit that supports 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounces cup sizes, makes both hot and iced coffee, has adjustable temperature control to make a Strong Brew cup of coffee and is a bit more consistent with temperature and taste.
