The reservoir can only hold 4 cups, not 5. If you put more than 4 cups in it, it will leak all over the counter.
The water reservoir is smaller than many coffee makers and requires attention while filling. The area to pour water is also smaller.
The placement of the water reservoir and lid on the coffeemaker makes it difficult to fill without spilling, as the lid obstructs the spout after pouring about 3 cups of water.
