About Keurig K-Slim Coffee Maker
77% highlighted the water reservoir capacity, but 23% did not
I want this coffee maker because of its water reservoir capacity, which can hold enough water for more than 1 cup of coffee. It also doesn't take up a lot of space, which is a common problem with coffee makers.
The water reservoir capacity is only about 6 cups, so I need to keep a water pitcher nearby to keep it filled.
The water reservoir holds 46 oz of water, which is enough for three 12 oz cups with 10 oz left over.
71% found the maintenance easy, but 29% struggled
The descaling process is easy enough, but it doesn't always work properly. The machine lasted only eight months.
I encountered an issue with the 'descale' light coming on and after descaling for hours, the light stayed blinking. After contacting Keurig customer service, they determined that the unit was faulty and promised a replacement.
77% found the compatibility helpful
I like the slim and space-saving design of the coffee maker. It fits next to my regular drip coffee maker, which has tight counter space.
70% were satisfied with the brewing temperature, while 30% weren't
The K-Slim brews at 175 degrees, while the other unit brewed at 168 degrees, which should have been 192 degrees.
I am not satisfied with the temperature of the coffee brewed. It is not hot enough for me and I have to heat it in the microwave. I prefer hotter/hottest coffee.
76% liked the brew time
This Kuerig is the quickest I have used so far, taking less than two minutes for a 12-ounce cup of coffee and even less for 8 or 10 ounces.
