I noticed a plastic smell from the coffee maker after brewing, but I passed it off because it was new. I used it maybe 10 times and the whole unit quit and leaked water all over the floor. It was awful.
The coffee maker started to leak in the first few weeks and it got worse over time. I left a cup underneath and in a matter of hours, the 8 oz cup was full.
