About Phonetone Cell Phone Signal Booster for Home and Office
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
88% appreciated the installation process
I set up the units outside and inside and connected it all easily. Before mounting it on the pole, I immediately had all five bars on all of my phones throughout the house.
I found the booster easy to install for Verizon LTE Band 13 (700 Mhz band upper) and it worked as advertised.
83% were satisfied with the network compatibility, however. 17% weren't
After using the signal booster, I have experienced an improvement in network compatibility. Previously, I typically got 0-1 LTE bars inside, but now I get 3-4 and even 3 bars of 5G.
In a rural area, I had almost no LTE signal with my Tracfone.
85% were happy with the indoor coverage area while 15% weren't happy
The signal booster couldn't cover the rest of the house for phone calls.
89% liked the amplication power
After installing the PhoneToneTech booster, I noticed that the signal strength in the room where the antenna is placed improved from -120 dBm to -68dBm. The farthest points of my house range from -89 to -110 dBm, which are adequate for calls and texts.
After installing the booster, my indoor signal levels ranged from around -89 db near the internal antenna mount which was about center of house, to around -110db at the back end of a five room farm house.
67% were satisfied with the frequency range coverage, but 33% weren't satisfied
After putting a metal roof on my house, I have no signal inside. Living in the woods, the nearest towers are miles away. I have to stand outside and at times hold my phone in the air to get 2 bars.
The booster does not cover Cell Band 2 (1900 Mhz) which is extensively used in urban and high travel areas with high tower density.
I set up the units outside and inside and connected it all easily. Before mounting it on the pole, I immediately had all five bars on all of my phones throughout the house.
The omnidirectional system always searches for the best connection amongst the three local towers at any given time
