I can cross cut 18 sheets with the shredder, but the cutter motor slows down with that many sheets.
I have noticed that the shredder is advertised to run up to 60 minutes and shred up to 18 sheets at a time. However, it shuts down on thermal overload after about 10 minutes of shredding between 2 and 4 sheets at a time.
