I found the shredder to be solid and heavy, but still manageable. It's not very portable, but it's sturdy and well-made, which is what I expected for the money spent.

The bin doesn't close flush because the top is heavy and pushes down on the lower housing, causing it to flex and stick.

The pull out drawer gets all the shredded paper unlike my old shredder which always left some behind.

I was able to shred 6 sheets at first and then upped it to 8 sheets. I gleefully fed in a stack of 12 carefully curated old bills and it ripped right through them! I did this several more times with stacks of 12 sheets with no problems whatsoever. The shredder has a good shredding speed.

I had 2 non-negotiable features, one of which was the shredding capacity of 12 sheets. I tested the shredder with different numbers of sheets and it performed well.
The shredder's bin can be overloaded without warning and it can be difficult to open it to dispose of the shredded paper.
