It's plain, not fancy or decorative but does its job and I will keep an eye on it during the colder winter months if I have a problem.
It's okay to wash and dry, but you can use it as your sole shower curtain if you're budget-conscious, because it's water resistant and magnets at the bottom.
The standard size liners in stores are only 72" long, not long enough to keep the water in many shower/tub combo safe, and we wanted a few extra inches to save the bathroom floor.
The former plastic had to be washed with towels in order to remove water stains, but they are just fine in regular wash.
We stretch out the liner so it doesn't have to dry out while we shower, which is better for the inside of the tub and less likely to get mold.
Question & Answers
I'm not sure if it holds on to a lot of the water. I'm looking for something light weight.
It is a shower curtain liner with magnets in the hem that does not hold water and is light weight.
Does anyone know what the washing instructions say? I saw on this page that it said to iron it on a permanent press, but I can't believe it's correct.
I don't iron mine, I wash it about twice a year and hang it to dry.
I noticed a slight humid smell after buying this curtain, are both sides waterproof?
I haven't noticed any odor from the tub, and I think both sides are waterproof.
Should the tag side be facing the shower or outer curtain if I am using it as a liner with a cloth curtain?
I have the tad facing the shower so it doesn't show on the bathroom side.
Are they non-toxic?
I don't think it would agree with you if you ate it.
