I found the sharpening-stones much easier to use as compared to the traditional method I used to follow. There is no changing sand paper, no sand in your stones, it is easier to clean up, much faster overall in every aspect, easier to see your progress, and it just works better. Based on my experience, I can say that I am very satisfied with the ease of use of sharpening-stones.
