About Stick N Stitch Self Adhesive Wash Away Stabilizer Twelve Sheets of 8-1/2 x 11
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
91% liked its long-lasting durability, but 9% found it deteriorated quickly
The stability was great and it did not melt away, but the pencil marks faded if they were not dark enough.
I rinsed the sewing-stabilizer in warm tap water, indicating its durability.
The product is durable and can withstand the washing process as it rinses out after the project is done.
The adhesive of the product was just okay. I had to add scotch tape for stability while working on a personal project involving designs on hats.
94% found it easy to remove
I can easily remove the stabilizer by rinsing it in warm tap water.
After following the instructions for dissolving and letting it dry completely, I was able to remove the sewing stabilizer easily and ended up with a great piece.
94% found it easy to apply, while 6% had trouble removing residue
I find the product easy to use and it sticks well to the fabric.
This product is awesome and much easier to use than drawing onto fabric.
It's a bit difficult to use as I have to tug more on the needle and fabric, but it has never shifted the pattern.
65% liked its size and thickness, but 35% found it too flimsy
The sewing-stabilizer is easy to use and sticks well to the fabric.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I noticed some stickiness from the adhesive building up on my needle while working with the stabilizer. The stabilizer might dissolve early from too much contact with hands.
89% praised for its stability, but 11% found it slipped during use
The stability of the sewing stabilizer is great and it does not melt away. However, pencil marks fade away if they are not dark enough to start with.
Even though I chronically under-tension my frame, the stabilizer provides enough tactile feedback for even satin stitches.
I can eliminate the effort of tracing embroidery patterns on to cloths by using this product. I can draw and scan my designs and then print them directly on to the sheet. Once I complete my embroidery, I can simply wash the stabilizer away.
I find it difficult to pull the needle and fabric due to the added layer of rubber, but the pattern has not shifted even once.
The product prints very well, is durable, and dissolves easily in water.
